
RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WJAC) — Emergency crews responded to a building fire in Richland Township Saturday morning.
According to Richland Township Volunteer Fire Department, the fire broke out at the Galleria Burger King after 9 a.m.
Richland Towhship Volunteer Fire Department Chief said there was minimal damage to the building, however the Burger King will be closed until inspections can be done.
The cause of the fire was grease in the hood system. The fire then spread upward towards the attic before being extinguished.
No injuries were reported, officials said.
Officials said Richland Fire, Johnstown Fire, Somerset 611, St. Michael Fire and East Hills EMS all were called to the scene.
