University Park, PA (WJAC) — A Centre County election challenge regarding the addresses for Penn State students at the University Park campus is being appealed in state court.
Dr. Linda Sheckler, of Bellefonte, filed the appeal last week, in state superior court, against the Centre County Board of Elections.
Sheckler wants the board to drop close to 350 Penn State students from the county's list of registered voters because the campus dorms, listed as the students' addresses, have now been closed for over two years.
Last month the county election board denied Sheckler's petition to strike the names off the county voting rolls.
