Friends and family gather for the annual Trucks for Smiles event in Somerset County

MEYERSDALE, Pa. (WJAC) Saturday was the fifth annual Trucks for Smiles event, hosted at the fairgrounds in Meyersdale. There were semitrailers, pickup trucks and even ambulances lining up at the Somerset Fairgrounds to participate in the Trucks for Smiles convoy.

Johnstown man dies in rollover crash

JOHNSTOWN - State police in Ebensburg said Patrick Knapp of Johnstown died Monday morning in a crash in Cambria County. Knapp, 44, was pronounced dead at the scene by Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees.

Monday marked 22 years since the passengers and crew members thwarted an attack on our nations capital, instead crashing into a field in Stonycreek Township, Somerset County.

Multiple cases in the state are moving forward charging young juveniles as adults. One is a 14-year-old Clearfield County boy, Aaron Klingensmith, accused of shooting and killing a 12-year-old girl. Another being Nolan Grove, who was 13 at the time of allegedly killing a 12-year-old boy.
