PA health department reports flu activity increase, 5 deaths

(WJAC) The Pennsylvania Department of Health says there have been over 2,600 confirmed cases of the flu and five deaths during the influenza season. Health officials say there have been 2,667 laboratory-confirmed flu cases throughout the state as of Nov. 30. Officials are urging residents to get their flu vaccine if they haven't already.

Pennsylvania to offer weekly COVID-19 testing for schools

ENOLA, Pa. (AP) Pennsylvania will offer voluntary COVID-19 testing in all K-12 schools. School districts will have to opt in, and parents must give consent. State health and education officials made the announcement Monday.
