Christmas came early for a Johnstown man who says he won a million dollars this week on a scratch-off lottery ticket.

Donald Eller is a cook at Big Dogz Grill on Bedford Street.

He said it was just a regular Tuesday when he bought a few $20 scratch-off tickets, and got some winners, before accidentally buying the same kind of ticket again.

But this time, “I had to look at it 5 times,” Eller told us.

He won't receive the money for a few more weeks, but when he does, Eller says he's going to get a new car, look at some houses and finally retire after cooking around the area for 32 years.
